When I talk with people, I encourage them to be aware of and use the following four steps:
1. Clearly Define Your Desires (make them fun)
2. Life gives you ONLY the very next step to take (not the entire road map - have fun)
3. Follow your feelings (the more fun you are having and sharing with others, the more on track you are to allowing your clearly defined desires into your life)
4. Worthiness (Your Self-Belief and Self-Worth are essential to receive your desires, for some desires it may take years to build that belief, so never ever give up)
Today, I am going to share some more information about number one: Clearly Define Your Desires.
I belong to different communities; some online; some in person; and I always connect with people who have dreams and desires.
What I often discover, is that very few people have clearly defined their desires.
They would like better health, or they would like better wealth, or they would like better relationships, however they have not clearly defined what that looks like.
They do have a general idea of course, yet their general idea keeps them in a holding pattern usually.
Let me give you an example.
Two people want more abundance in their life.
The first person says, “I want to be financially free.”
The second person says, “I want to earn an extra $500-$1,000 a month in passive income doing writing which I love until I get to a place where my passive income through writing has grown to over $10,000 a month making me financially free.”
Each person has defined what they would like to a particular level of clarity.
Often when I ask these two people to elaborate, the first person says, “I don’t really know.” and the second person clearly says, “I am creating a passive Internet business.”
Wherever they are, Life ONLY gives each of them the very next step on their journey.
Maybe Life encourages the first person to read a particular book.
Maybe Life encourages the second person to read the same particular book.
As they gain new information, each person elaborates their Clearly defined desires with new clarity.
And Life responds to their new clarity with ONLY their very next step.
We have all experienced this very thing, of clarifying what we want in life and following the next step.
What happens many times, is that the results are not usually instant, and even though Life has the entire road map designed for you, and Life easily puts each necessary step into place (even with your ever changing clarity), you give up before you have gotten far enough along on the path.
I like the work of Esther and Jerry Hicks with Abraham who say it this way, “Your Manifestation is 99% complete before you ever see any evidence of it.”
By example …
Think of Manifestation as a 100 day journey.
Think of your own life journey.
On day one you Clearly Define Your Desires.
Each successive day Life gives you ONLY the very next step to take (not the entire road map).
How many times have you Clearly Defined Your Desires, and then by day 3 or 5 or 10 or 67, said to yourself, something like, “This isn’t working!”?
And then you gave up for a period of time, only to start the entire process all over again from day one later.
Because of this, I have a 100 day challenge for you.
If that seems too daunting, make it a 30 day challenge for yourself.
If that seems too daunting, make it a ONE day challenge for yourself.
THE ONE HUNDRED DAY CHALLENGE - ONE DAY AT A TIME
1. Clearly define your desires (make them fun)
2. Write them out in a way that helps you to activate the energy of your desires (add any new clarity to them when new clarity comes along)
3. Read them in the morning before you begin your day, and at night before you go to bed, and every other time during the day when you would like to activate the energy of your desires
4. When you feel things are not working, find a way to feel your worthiness and the possibility of your desires in your life (For some desires … it can take years to create the self-worth and self-belief to achieve them, so never ever give up)
Blessings,
Barry
