No matter what you are doing or who you are being, “I AM” is Always Present.

I have been enjoying the concept that no matter what appears to be in my life … that underneath, behind, within, is a Presence that is Always Present.

If I take away the concept of “me”.

If you take away the concept of “you”.

What is left?

Before Enlightenment - Chop Wood, Carry Water.

After Enlightenment - Chop Wood, Carry Water.

Before Enlightenment - Make Love, Fight, Agree, Disagree.

After Enlightenment - Make Love, Fight, Agree, Disagree.

Before Enlightenment - Desire an Experience of Total Freedom.

After Enlightenment - Realize you were always Total Freedom.

The only difference is the AWARENESS of Total Freedom.

Before Enlightenment - “I AM” is Always Present.

After Enlightenment - “I AM” is Always Present.

Today as you move through your day, become aware of what is Always Present in your life.

Science shows us that at the particle level, everything is made up of 99% Empty space.

Your body is made up of 99% empty space.

Your home is made up of 99% empty space.

Every person, place, and thing is made up of 99% empty space.

Your senses fool you into thinking that everything is 100% real.

It is an illusion of the senses.

The Energy of Life is moving slow enough that 1% of life appears to be 100% solid rather than 99% empty space.

If that is so (and science shows us it is), what really is reality?

If everything is 99% empty space.

If reality is only made up of 1% form?

Then what is reality?

What is real?

And more importantly, what is the 99% empty space?

For me, the 99% empty space is the Pure Potential Energy of Life.

Everything in your life - your reality - is actually 99% Pure Potential.

Too often we look at the 1% and say that is Reality.

Actually 99% Pure Potential is present within all Reality.

Everything is an illusion.

Everything is 99% Pure Potential.

What makes any illusion real is your Belief.

When you Believe something, you only see one possibility.

That is wonderful when your Belief leads you to whatever you desire.

That is complicated when your Belief leads you away from everything you desire.

How can you use this concept to your advantage?

You can choose to Believe anything you desire.

You can Believe that what is showing up in your life is 100% Real and there is no changing it.

Or you can Believe that what is showing us in your life is 99% Pure Potential and you can change the illusion of what is reality for you into whatever you desire to be reality.

You could look at your Bank Account. You could look at the numbers that represent your bank balance and say that is Reality. You could also look at your bank balance and say that is only one possibility.

Your bank account is constantly in flux.

Your bank account is Pure Potential.

When you deposit, $1,000,000 or more into your bank account, your Bank Account expresses a new possibility.

When you do that it appears to be reality, but it is only one possibility.

When you deposit, $1,000,000,000 or more into your bank account, your Bank Account expresses a new possibility.

All of life is an illusion.

Wrap your mind around the concept that everything in your life is 99% Pure Potential.

Only when you choose ONE possibility does that become your reality.

Reality = 1% Form + 99% Pure Potential

You could look at your health. You could see any form of dis-ease and say that is Reality. You could also look at your health and say that is only one possibility.

You could look at your health, and say that you are 99% Pure Potential, Empty Space, Possibilities.

Your health is in constant flux.

You can accept and activate any one possibility as your reality.

You can also accept and activate any other possibility as your reality.

Just because something is said to be true, does not mean that is the only possibility.

(Around health, there are numerous possibilities. If you have heard about them, they all are true. The only important possibility is the one possibility you Choose to Believe.)

Today ask yourself …

What if life really is an illusion?

No matter what appears as my reality, what if my life is 99% Pure Potential Possibilities?

If Life really is an Illusion … what I am going to Create my Life To Be?

Reality = 1% Form + 99% Pure Potential

A few weeks ago, at an Internet Marketing event, I met Mark Huber CFP.

He has written a bunch of Financial Planning books under the heading “The UnCanadian Way”.

Today, I finished reading The Diamond Cutter: The Buddha on Strategies for Managing Your Business and Your Life by Geshe Michael Roach.

Geshe Michael Roach is a fully ordained Buddhist monk who received his geshe (master of Buddhism) degree from Sera Mey Tibetan Monastery after twenty-two years of study.

In The Diamond Cutter, Geshe Michael Roach shares his story of being in The Diamond Cutter Business as well as the most up to date translation of The Diamond Cutter - a conversation with The Buddha.

Geshe Michael Roach talks primarily about the Emptiness of Life, which can take on any prespective we place upon it.

The Emptiness of Life states that “What Is” is Empty of any ideas.

The Emptiness of Life states that people can attach any idea onto “What Is”.

The Emptiness of Life states this concept is “True” because if it were not, everyone would experience everything in the exact same way.

On page 84, Geshe Michael Roach writes [copyright © 2000 Geshe Michael Roach]:

… correlations between specific actions, their imprints, and what they make you see. We can summarize them as follows:

1) In order to see yourself do well in business and prosper financially, plant imprints for this in your subconscious by maintaining a generous state of mind.

2) In order to see yourself in a world which is just generally a very happy place, plant imprints for this in your subconscious by maintaining a very ethical way of life.

3) In order to see yourself as physically healthy and attractive, plant imprints for this in your subconscious by refusing to ever get angry.

4) In order to see yourself as a leader in both your personal life and in business, plant imprints for this in your subconscious by taking joy in constructive and helpful actions.

5) In order to see yourself able to focus your mind steadily, plant imprints for this in your subconscious by practicing deep states of concentration, or meditation.

6) In order to see yourself freed from a world where things don’t work the way you want them to, plant imprints for this in your subconscious by learning the principles of hidden potential and mental imprints.

7) In order to see yourself get all your ever wished for, and see others get all they ever wished for as well, plant imprints for this in your subconscious by cultivating an attitude of compassion towards others.

From my understanding of Geshe Michael Roach’s sharing …

Life is less of a mirror. ie: I lie => you lie => I lie
Life is more of a projector. ie: If I believe that people lie => I will perceive you as lying
Life is a lot like gardening. ie: Every moment we plant a seed => that grows and blooms over time.

Whatever seed we plant, will be projected onto life and eventualy bloom in my life experience.

So the seven concepts above could be written as follows:

1. Every moment I plant a seed … of generosity … leads to an experience of financial prosperity.

2. Every moment I plant a seed … of being ethical … leads to an experience of happiness.

3. Every moment I plant a seed … of being joyful … leads to an experience of radiant health and beauty.

4. Every moment I plant a seed … of joyful, constructive, and helpful actions … leads to an experience of personal and business success.

5. Every moment I plant a seed … of meditation/contemplation … leads to Strengthening my ability of Mental Focus.

6. Every moment I plant a seed … of understanding Pure Potential Energy … leads to an experience of understanding life.

7. Every moment I plant a seed … of Compassion towards others … leads to seeing myself (and others) getting everything we desire and wish for.

I recommend this book for many reasons, most of which opened me to an understanding of the Diamond Industry as a metaphor of success in business and life using these principles.

On page 225, Geshe Michael Roach writes [copyright © 2000 Geshe Michael Roach]:

The mind — a mind crippled by the assumptions and, frankly, fairy tales of the entire history of our civilization, passed down by well-meaning parents over its entire length — balks at the possibility that every living person could have more than enough wealth. It’s not something that has ever happened before in our recorded history, says this state of mind, and so it could not happen now. We’ve heard this argument before; it wasn’t true then, and it’s not true now. Watch out, Columbus, you’ll fall over the edge, because the world is flat. Iron could never fly in the sky, or float for that matter. It’s not possible that practically every person in the world could have the same access to the world’s information, running through wires made of glass or beamed down from a place beyond where the highest bird can fly. Where did all these things come from? Did they not alter the absolute amount of wealth in the world? Where does new wealth really come from?

On page 223, Geshe Michael Roach writes [copyright © 2000 Geshe Michael Roach]:

When you give something away to another person, when you help any single other living being with your hands or your time or your funds, then a certain imprint is planted in your mind; the act is always recorded by the consciousness of the act, and consciousness is turned on and recording all the time. This imprint stays in the subconscious gathering strength, growing in power like any physical plant or tree. At some point it makes its way to the head of the line of your awareness, into your conscious mind, and colors — even creates — your impression of the world around you, and even yourself.

So right this moment, ask yourself, “What seed am I planting?”

Plant more seeds that bloom into the things you love.
