This past week, I read Huna: Ancient Hawaiian Secrets for Modern Living by Serge Kahili King, PhD.

I have had this book for a while now. When I first got it there was a very strong urge within me to read it. Then as time went on, each time I looked at Huna: Ancient Hawaiian Secrets for Modern Living the urge was no longer as strong. Then I glanced inside the book this week and I found a program for success as follows:

• BE AWARE that the world is what you think it is. Decide you have the power to succeed.
• BE FREE because there are no limits. Give yourself the right to succeed.
• BE FOCUSED because energy flows where attention goes. Increase your desire to succeed.
• BE HERE because now is the moment of power. Start right now with a will to succeed.
• BE HAPPY because love is the source of power. Enjoy and acknowledge the good that is.
• BE CONFIDENT because all power comes from within. Always trust yourself.
• BE POSITIVE because effectiveness is the measure of success. Always expect the best.

I connected with these concepts so powerfully, that I sat down and read the book right away.

I was glad that I did because, this program for success uses the seven principles of the Huna experience and the entire book explains the use of these principles towards all areas of one’s life.

A second area of attention Serge Kahili King, PhD focused around the concept of Being Centered in the Energy of the Present:

Connecting With Energy sources is a great way to harness the power of the present. The best place for doing this is anywhere out in nature. Trees are loving beings that love being hugged and also have a powerful energy field. So do human beings, by the way; if you know a powerful human being, hug him or her, too! Human fields and tree fields are similar in this respect; if you get into a peaceful, present space and lean against one or the other, stand between two of them, or sit within a circle of them, you’ll get all the benefits of energy amplification. In both cases you’ll have more energy flowing, your thoughts will be more clear and powerful, and you will feel calm and relaxed.

A third area of attention Serge Kahili King, PhD focused upon in the book started in Chapter 7: Love Your Way to Success as explained in the following quote:

It’s good to have an understanding of what I mean by love, because in the Hawaiian it is much clearer than in English and other languages. The Hawaiian word for love is aloha. The root alo means “to be with”. It also means “to be present”, which means to be with someone or something in the present moment. Oha, the next root, is “joy” particularly the kind of joy you have greeting someone or something, so aloha can me translated as “to be happy with someone or something in the moment.” An additional meaning of alo is “to share”, as in to share an experience, and ha is “life, energy, breath, life spirit”. This aspect of aloha is “the joyful sharing of life”, and this is also love.

I found the concepts of this book were in complete alignment with my philosophy of life at this time.

The entire book is an exploration of these seven Huna concepts:

• BE HAPPY
• BE CONFIDENT
• BE POSITIVE

Currently I am enjoying their Money, and the Law of Attraction Cards: A 60-Card Deck.

This past week, I have been embodying the information of card #47 [copyright © 2009 Esther and Jerry Hicks] Money, and the Law of Attraction Cards: A 60-Card Deck

#47) My Career is One of Creating a Joyful Life Experience … If your dominant intent is to feel joy while you are doing the work, your triad of intentions — freedom, growth, and joy — will come quickly and easily into alignment. See your “career” as one of creating a joyful life experience. You are not a creator of things, or a regurgitator of what someone else has created, or a gatherer of stuff. You are a creator, and the subject of your creation is your joyful life experience. This is your mission. That is your quest. That is why you are here.“

So many of the other cards have been incredible reminders as well.

I particularly connected with this one, because as a creator, the purpose of all the creations I desire for my life is really for my joyful life experience.

When I focus on the creations, all types of different feeling creations come to me.

When I focus on my joy, joyful experiences come to me.

I love focusing on my joy.

I love knowing that my thoughts feel “bad” when they are directed towards the belief that everything I desire in my life is never going to come to me (no matter what is happening in my experience).

I love knowing that my thoughts feel “good” when they are directed towards the belief that everything I desire in life is coming to me (no matter what is happening in my experience).

As a result, no matter what is present in my experience, I can use my imagination and focus my thoughts on the belief of the fulfillment of everything I desire (no matter what appears to be), which feels good.

Some people say this is totally fanciful … but it is just as fanciful to use your power of thought to believe that everything you desire is impossible just because of what is here for ONE MOMENT IN TIME.

I love focusing on feeling better in every moment (no matter what appears to be), because I want everything in order to feel better … and the truth is that only through feeling “good” do I set my Creation Vibration to attract more and more better feeling experiences.

#38) The Better My Story Gets, The Better My Life Gets … Begin telling the story of your desire, and then add to it the details of the positive aspects that you can find that match those desires. And then embellish your positive expectation by speculating with your good-feeling Wouldn’t it be nice if …? examples.
You can say things like: Only good things come to me and I’ll figure it out as I go along . . . Every time you tell your better-feeling story, you will feel better, and the details of your life will improve. The better it gets, the better it gets.
