How Are You Feeling When You Make Your Decisions?
I have shared before that we have four creative powers in our life:
1. Thoughts
2. Feelings
3. Words
4. Actions
The order I share your creative powers in is very important.
#1 Thoughts
The Creative Process starts with your Thoughts. All things start with Thought. When you think about something, you activate it in your Creation Vibration.
#2 Feelings
Your Thoughts create your Feelings.
When you think you are going to achieve a desire in your life, you will feel good.
When you think you are NOT going to achieve a desire in your life, you will feel bad.
Now there are many different words we can use to describe our feelings, but they generally all feel good or bad to us depending upon where we are feeling in the moment.
I love the Scale of Emotions described by Abraham-Hicks:
1. Joy/Knowledge/Empowerment/Freedom/Love/Appreciation
2. Passion
3. Enthusiasm/Eagerness/Happiness
4. Positive Expectation/Belief
5. Optimism
6. Hopefulness
7. Contentment
8. Boredom
9. Pessimism
10. Frustration/Impatience/Irritation
11. “Overwhelment”
12. Disappointment
13. Doubt
14. Worry
15. Blame
16. Discouragement
17. Anger
18. Revenge
19. Hatred/Rage
20. Jealousy
21. Insecurity/Guilt/Unworthiness
22. Fear/Grief/Depression/Despair/Powerlessness
Feelings have been misunderstood for many years by many people. I like the way that Abraham-Hicks talks about feelings with this rudimentary scale. Awareness of the way you are feeling can transform your life.
No matter where you are on this scale . . . let’s say you are at #15. BLAME.
When you are feeling BLAME, rarely can you jump to the top of the scale to feel JOY right away. However, we can move from BLAME to WORRY with one thought that feels a little better. We can eventually move all the way up to the top of the scale to truly feeling JOY.
When you are feeling BLAME, you can often jump all the way down to the bottom of the scale and FEAR right away. The ability to jump to the bottom of the scale is generally easier for most people because jumping down the scale is a habit that has been practiced over time by many people in our society.
No matter where you are on the scale . . . let’s say you are at #15. BLAME . . . when you think towards achieving your goals, you will feel better, and when you think away from achieving your goals, you will feel worse.
#3 Words
Your Words are your Thoughts and Feelings manifest.
Your Words contain both Thoughts and Feelings.
You can say the same Words and they can mean very different things.
I love you.
You can say the Words, I love you, and you can be Thinking and Feeling so many different things that the Words, I love you, can be very different in their intentions and results.
Think: I love you
Feel: I love you
Say: I love youThink: you’re spineless
Feel: I hate you
Say: I love youThink: you’re hot
Feel: I’m hot
Say: I love you
#4 Actions
Your Thoughts, Feelings, and Words make up you Beliefs and Self-Esteem.
When you Think, Feel, and Speak in ways that feel bad to you, your self-esteem is low.
When you Think, Feel, and Speak in ways that feel good to you, your self-esteem is high.
When you Act, or make a decision, and you are feeling good, your actions lead to good feeling results.
When you Act, or make a decision, and you are feeling bad, your actions lead to bad feeling results.
How are you feeling when you make your decisions?
1. Your Thoughts
2. Your Feelings
3. Your Words
+ 4. Your Actions
===========
= Your Results
The better you feel when you make your decisions . . . then better your results end up feeling.
Find a way to feel the best you can before making your decisions.
If you are feeling frustrated . . . you are looking at the situation in a way that you believe you cannot get to what you desire, and your feeling will inform your decision.
If you are feeling afraid . . . you are looking at the situation in a way that you believe you cannot get to what you desire, and your feeling will inform your decision.
If you are feeling angry . . . you are looking at the situation in a way that you believe you cannot get to what you desire, and your feeling will inform your decision.
If you are feeling happy . . . you are looking at the situation in a way that you believe you can get to what you desire, and your feeling will inform your decision.
Today, take some time to FEEL WHAT YOU ARE FEELING as you make your decisions.
Blessings,
Barry
