A few years after that Mark released Joe Vitale teaches the Law of Attraction. There was a contest for this too. I was lucky enough to enter the contest early enough to get this program for free too.

On August 7, 2010 my friend Virginie Jean-Marie returned to Source. This past weekend, a celebration of her life was attended by many friends remembering the joy she shared in the world.

On the day I was told of Virginie’s passing, I sat down and wrote a letter to remember her gifts to me. I share that letter with you here:

Hello Virginie,

Wow!

Spectacular!

You are at peace now.

You understand the meaning of your entire life journey - beautiful!

Your presence in the world brought great joy and confidence and healing to many people.

Your passing (surprising for many) reminds us about the importance of preparation for our own passing.

You were always such a great teacher.

You are with your mom now!

That makes me so happy (and moved).

I know you are laughing and telling stories together.

I love the presence you played in my life and the world.

Here are the qualities that you held as a shining example in my life:

Laughter! You were the person in my life who was quick to laugh. Even now I can hear your peels of laughter. I remember the first laughing exercise we did together with such vigor and joy.

Loving children! You talked about your passion through the years for children. Your school! Your tutoring! Your babysitting! Your work with children of all ages from newborns to 100 years of age in our community.

Loving good fish! Every time we chatted you talked about eating fish. “I love fish!” you said. You loved going to the Art Gallery to eat fish regularly.

Loving Life and Growth and the Afterlife! I love the many hours we spent talking about spiritual growth and spiritual connection and spiritual sharing. The exercises we shared and the meditations and the hopes and dreams.

Loving wealth! All the times we talked about being rich, and the abundance we enjoyed through the years, and the ways you loved finding wealth, and sharing wealth through your love and peace and laughter and knowledge and caring and gifts.

Love of teaching French! I remember the last time we talked, you stopped in the store for a few minutes and I had bought you a French Encyclopedia to aid in your tutoring. You were so happy to report, that the four students you had lost over the summer had been replaced by four new students. As you left, you said, “See you, my love.” Many times you said some thing similar. “See you, sweetie.” “See you, handsome.”

Love of the childhood home in Paris with your mom and sister, which today is a luxury hotel! You talked with love of visiting the hotel and staying in the room that was your childhood playground, and leisurely walking around the neighborhood again. I know that you and your mom have made that visit together now.

Love of yourself and others! You were very open and honest about your journey. You shared your successes and failures. You shared your feelings and your healings.

Love of your dreams! You shared your dreams openly and passionately with me and many others. Your love of your dreams encouraged many others to love their dreams too. You always gave an encouraging nudge.

Love of stories! You loved reading moving stories. You loved sharing moving stories. My favorite story that you shared which impacted me most was the following . . .

If you plant seeds of love, you will harvest love.
If you plant seeds of hate, you will harvest hate.

Such a simple and profound reminder.

Love of sunflowers and the book that became a mirror of your life.

Love of your Orange Tree. You made jam with the tart oranges from your tree and you knew that some day they would be sweeter. (They were always sweeter with your laughter).

Love of the Labyrinth. You would walk the Labyrinth in Vancouver sometimes with others and sometimes only with God.

Love of God! Years before I met you, you said you’d struggled with the word God. By the time I met you, you had found peace with the word and with the meaning of God in your life. You had a strong and ever-present faith in God. You doubted at times (as we all do). However you were certain so many times, that your inspired many with your faith and manifestations.

Love of A Course in Miracles! This was your main guidebook. Whenever we struggled to see eye to eye, you came back and shared how your perspective had changed when you opened the book to the perfect passage, and shared that we could agree to disagree.

Love of your books! You shared your books with everyone you came in touch with.

Your Appreciation! Often you complimented me. I witnessed you compliment others. You found something to appreciate in others. You told us all.

Thank you for the love you shared so powerfully in my life.

If you knew, Virginie Jean-Marie and this is the first time you are hearing about her passing, I send my love and caring to you. The time of passing from the physical to the non-physical encourages a focus on our own meaning in life. May we each focus on bringing more joy to others, just as Virginie shared with so many.
