A Seed of Love by Cheryl Lee Harnish
A fellow Vancouver author, Cheryl Lee Harnish, has just released her new book, A Seed of Love, which I found insightful and heartfelt.
I loved the honesty Cheryl writes with showing both her shadow and light clearly in this book. A particular passage that I connected with is found on . . .

“Cheryl,” Ingela spoke softly and firmly, “you also have to claim your space and your part in the work you do.”
“I do, Ingela, so I don’t get what you mean.”
“No dear, you don’t. You push your work out in front of you wanting the work to represent itself, yes? But you do not realize you are the one bringing this work forth into the world. Without you, it would not be what it is.” She caught me trying to look away, knowing this was hard for me to hear. She reached out and put a hand on my arm to get me to make eye contact again. “Cheryl, you are the one the Universe has chosen to do this work. You. Therefore, you
must stand tall and represent both the work and yourself to the world. You are just as much of an important factor as the cards themselves. Trust the Universe in their choice. The more you show of yourself, the more power and energy you give to the work itself.”
I too have separated myself from my work. (Haven’t we all?) Thanks for this beautiful reminder Cheryl.
I became aware of author, Cheryl Lee Harnish, after finding her Path of the Soul, Destiny Cards in Vancouver’s largest spiritual book store, Banyen Books and Sound. Those are the very cards Ingela talks about in the passage from the book.
My current favorite divination card set is this Path of the Soul, Destiny Cards. I love the Fractal Art work that Cheryl Lee Harnish has personally created and uses for the images. I love the positive messages shared through the accompanying guidebook.
I was personally surprised by A Seed of Love and the way Cheryl openly shares her journey towards personal belief in herself and her gifts through the trials and tribulations of the human condition.
You can read more about Cheryl and even read the first two chapters to A Seed of Love on her website www.fractalart.ca
I love that I have some more tools in my toolbox of life thanks to the work of Cheryl Lee Harnish.
Blessings,
Barry
