Life After Death by Deepak Chopra
This week I read Life After Death: The Burden of Proof by Deepak Chopra.
Often we associate the word death with the passing of a loved one:
Person
Pet
Plant
Ourselves.
We all experience death.
On a daily basis in fact.
Each and every moment we experience death — we can never get that moment back.
Yet each moment of death — gives way to a moment of life as well — a moment of birth.
Deepak Chopra takes a topic that touches each and everyone of our lives and shares his perspective on death. Through stories and studies a web of the eternal connection between life and death is revealed.
Deepak Chopra approaches the subject with three perspectives about the subject in mind:
1. Believers
2. Skeptics
3. Agnostics (noncommittal)
The resulting text Life After Death: The Burden of Proof includes many traditions and suppositions and makes for a thought provoking read for all three perspectives.
Deepak Chopra gives us the information.
The reader gets to use that information to prove their current beliefs — and to broaden those beliefs too — if they so choose.
I found this book to be a wonderful enhancer to my understanding of Life After Death and everything in between and outside of those descriptions.
Blessings,
Barry
