Why do I write?
This week, I enjoyed hearing from another dear person who connected with my writing. As I wrote a letter in response, I found myself describing the process of my writing in a way that was very clear to me. I share it with you here.
I write all my books to help me feel empowered in all the areas they cover … Abundance, Relationships, Happiness, etc. Most importantly all of my books are written to empower my relationship with God/Life/Energy, which is the basis for my entire life. I write with an intention to create simple timeless concepts that empower me to Connect with God/Life/Energy, rather than trying to change the outer world conditions. Even though I sometimes struggle with the outer world, I have become keenly Aware of the power of focus on God within my inner world. I use my books/concepts daily as tools to empower my experience.
In fact, I wrote my first book in 1999 (for myself) and have been using the concepts and the affirmations to improve my life since that time. My best friend encouraged me to share my writings feeling they could benefit others. I am glad I have, for the very reasons that your letter shares.
I also want to share with you that even with these concepts, I still make mistakes on the journey. However, when I believe that my good feelings mean that I AM Connected with All That Is, my life has improved immensely and I get back on track far quicker each time I experience challenges.
Life does not say we shall eliminate challenges from our experience (for challenges are a part of the human condition - for good in my opinion), but Life does say that we can improve the way we get through challenges by our perspective.
Please remember that feeling disconnected in life always encourages us to believe and have faith that we can win and enjoy.
Life is set up for everyone to win.
When you are feeling good,
you are letting your dreams in.
I encourage you to begin writing your own collection of affirmations and concepts in your own little book that you carry with you and refer to when you wish to feel more empowered. You are writing your life on an ongoing moment-to-moment basis, and the more Intentional focus you place in your Thoughts, Feelings, Words, and Actions, the more empowered you become as you are Creating Your Own Experience.
